Et tu - Students?

Time has come for Spring Break 2011, and we would like you to take this time to self-reflect on the past year, specifically in English class. We want you to take a moment and think about some of the things you have learned and how they can affect your life. Remember, we don’t teach you all of the things we do for no reason!

With all of these things in mind, we would like you to think about your upcoming spring break and brainstorm some ideas in which you could incorporate some of the things from English class into your break. Perhaps you could read a bit each day; perhaps you could notice ethos, pathos, and logos in your life.

Your Task Today:
Compose a 3 paragraph entry (minimum 5 sentences each) in which you discuss possible ways you can incorporate the skills learned in English class into your break.

im guessing over the break i clould incorperate my skills and what ive learned in class by ,when i read a book , i can now understand what may be logos or ethos and better understand the book , and the different types of writting such as metaphores and synonym. it would be easier to maybe rrite a summary or work on papers for other class because now my writting is better .

over te break you asked me to think of what i might want to achieve and what goal i want to finish by the time of the end of this year. well i ,most likley want to become a better writter because by the time of next year i have to start composing essays for colleges and such. so purssuasive, compare and contrast exc. thats what i wanna achieve by the end of this year.

In this past year I have learned a few things that I actualy believe I will use in the future. Next year I wanna use the stuff we did in here because now I am beginniong to undesratnd some of the stuff. For example ethos, pathos, and logos. At first I didnt understand it but now I am starting to understand it fully and better then I did before!

I have a feeling next year we will get more into what we have been talking about this year. I think next year we will get into it more then we did this year, but I can honestly say this year my class learned alot of things that I didnt even know of that we use in everday life.
